Front Choke Release
"Stick Em Up Release"

HOW TO ESCAPE:

Your child is attacked by an abductor that grabs him or her around the throat with both of his hands. Here is what your child should do.

FIRST, your child should raise both hands high above his or her head. No matter how big or tall the abductor is, his hands will never be any higher than the child's throat. By raising both hands up high in the air, this will make your child's shoulder higher than the abductor's wrist.

SECOND, your child should take a large step back with one of their feet. It doesn't matter which foot they step back with. If they step back with their right foot, they should sharply twist their hips to the right or to the left if they step back with their left foot. This will cause the attacker to release the hold.

THIRD, your child should quickly run away and seek assistance from a PERSON IN AUTHORITY
